Who We Are
HuntingPrime.com is built and maintained by ActionNeuro LLC, a small team of hunters, researchers, and developers based in Idaho. We created this site because we were tired of digging through outdated forums and government PDFs to find basic hunting information.
How the Team Is Organized
HuntingPrime publishes under a team byline rather than individual author names. One editor is responsible for every page: they assign the research, check each date, limit and fee against the agency source before publication, and sign off on corrections. Research contributors gather and cross-check state-specific material. Nobody on the team is a state agency employee, and no page is sponsored.
Areas of focus: season structures and regulations across the 24 states we cover, public land access, license and tag systems, and the data tooling that keeps the tables current.
The Research Team
Our research contributors are hunters who help verify state-specific information. They are not staff writers or biologists – they are experienced hunters who cross-check season dates, bag limits, and licensing details against official state sources. Every contributor has:
- Completed a Hunter Education course
- Actively hunted in the states they contribute content for
- Direct experience navigating public land access and tag application systems
We do not publish content from contributors without editorial review.
What We Do
We gather, verify, and organize information from official sources to help you plan hunts, track regulation changes, and understand land access rules – without having to dig through government PDFs or outdated blogs.
All of our content is:
- Based on state wildlife agencies, public land data, and federal regulations
- Structured and formatted using in-house tools and AI assistance
- Manually reviewed before publishing to check for clarity and accuracy
We aim to build tools and guides that are fast, honest, and easy to use.
Use of AI Tools
We use AI to support – but not replace – our editorial team.
Examples of AI-assisted tasks:
- Formatting regulation data from state agency sources
- Organizing license fee and tag tables
- Extracting dates from official PDFs and proclamations
- Drafting initial article structures that we then rewrite and fact-check
Every article is reviewed by a human editor before publication. AI never makes editorial decisions about what we recommend or how we present information.
Our Standards
- We cite our sources. Every factual claim links back to an official state or federal source.
- We correct mistakes fast. If you find an error, tell us and we will fix it and note the correction.
- We do not accept paid placements. No brand has ever paid for a review or influenced our recommendations.
- We disclose how we make money. See our affiliate disclosure and editorial policy.
