Services offered

Matt & Kellie Brekke would like to introduce you to Colorado’s High Lonesome Outfitter & Guides. We have been in operation since 1996 with Kellie and Matt taking over the reins in 2023 with transferring our personal hunting passion into fulfilling those of our clients. Whether it is packing in or out of the Flat Tops Wilderness or Green Ridge Mountain, the surreal experiences and tranquility of riding a horse deep into the back country is an experience in itself. Combine that with chasing elk, deer, moose, or bear, living in a wall tent, and existing under the star lit sky; these are where memories are made. Our small operation with 1 guided and 1 drop camp allows us to pride ourselves on quality over quantity. The endless clients we have had the opportunity to meet and became friends with has been a true blessing. If you are ready to experience what NW Colorado wilderness has to offer, get back to the basics in a saddle of a horse, and have memories you will share for years to come, Let Colorado’s High Lonesome Outfitter & Guides know how we can assist you with this dream!
